Each December, YWCA’s Youth Learning Centers take a break from focusing on literacy and throw a celebration for the holidays with students and partnered organizations! It’s a chance for Center Coordinators to help over 250 students celebrate their successes before going on break for Christmas and the New Year.
Volunteers, YWCA staff and YWCA supporters gift the YWCA Youth Learning Centers with needed materials and educational games, host crafts and activities with students and share a meal with students and families in the Centers. Our Winter Celebrations are always a success thanks to the support of organizations and groups like F-3, Microsoft, Atrium Health, Ally Bank, Dorcas Ministries, YWCA Central Carolinas Board Members and YWCA’s 1902 Society.
