T'ai Chi & Qi Gong with Mike Gentile

Learn yang style t’aiji including ’24 Movement’, ‘Embrace the Moon’ and Qi Gong sets. All level of knowledge are welcome.
When: Tuesdays 9:45am – 10:45am, part of a 6-class series  with drop in options available
Where: Multipurpose Room
Rate: YWCA Member: $10/class or $50 for series; Non-Member: $15/class or $75 for series

Fearless Fighters

Martial Arts is a great activity to add to your life no matter your goals or age! Instructor Drew M, USKSF 2017 National Sword Fighting Champion and 2018 WKSF 3rd Best in the World, is here to bring his knowledge to you. Equipped with a BS in Exercise Science, as well as training in Southern Shoulin Kung-fu, Tai Chi and Modern Arnis, he’ll provide the most comprehensive Martial Arts and fitness training for your needs. No experience necessary, for ages 6 and up.

Member Rates: $70 for a Single Semi-Private Lesson, $90 for a Single Private Lesson, $320 for 4 Private Lessons, $240 for 4 Semi-Private Lessons
Non- Member Rates: $80 for a Single Semi-Private Lesson, $100 for a Single Private Lesson, $360 for 4 Private Lessons, $280 for 4 Semi-Private Lessons

YDub Tri Club Crash Course Into Triathlon

Jump start your training with a CRASH COURSE into Triathlon!  Coaches Jody F. and Lisa F. will teach you everything you need to know to get you to the finish line of your next tri in just 5 WEEKS!

When: April 29 – May 29, Mondays and Wednesdays 7pm – 8:30pm

Run MC Run Clinic

Training for a 5K up to a Marathon? Want to improve your run during a triathlon? Want to improve your run form efficiency? You can do it all with Mark Carbone! Learn tips, tricks, and tactics to train the MIND and BODY for mastery of the run. 

*Must be able to run 1-mile non-stop.

When: June 18, 20, 25, 27 and July 2
Time: 6:30-7:30
Where: ISF Gym and Outside
Rate: YW Members $45/series & $15/class, NonMembers $65/series & $20/class

Double Dip Pool & Land Bootcamp

Summer is here! Beat the heat with Coach Jody F. during a 4-week bootcamp geared toward cooling you off while heating up your workout. We will focus on improving strength through pool and land based bootcamp style exercises accompanied with running/wakling. Think water bucket carry, aqua running, aqua dumbells, sprint swims, and good ol’ fashion body weight workouts on deck. All fitness levels are welcome. Participants must be able to swim 50 yards.

When: July 11 – August 1, Thursdays 6:30 – 7:30pm
Where: YWCA Pool and Outside
Rate: YWCA Members $40 ($15 for a drop-in) and Non-Members $60 ($20 for a drop in)

Take Your First Step

Join coaches Mark C. and Jody F. for a 6-week run/walk training program. Once a week, group runs support your Coach provided training plan. We will culminate with the Yiasou Greek Festival 5k (optional) on August 24th.

When: July 13 – August 17, Saturdays 9am – 10am

Seasonal Special Programs:

YDub Tri Club

YWCA's YDub-tri-club team

Have you ever wanted to compete in a triathlon? From first timers to experienced competitors, we offer seasonal group and 1:1 trainings. Led by certified USAT Coach Jody Frazier and her team of coaches, you’ll be led step-by-step through swimming, biking and running drills over a multi-week period. Build friendships with your fellow athletes and feel the pride of crossing the finish line. The session includes a practice triathlon, preview of the race course and an abundance of support from your fellow YDubbers. Check this page seasonally for training and fee information.
