T'ai Chi & Qi Gong with Mike Gentile
You can try out this class for free on Tuesdays from 9am – 9:20am!
Have fun with a 60-minute high intensity swim class. Get your heart rate pumping, sprinting and strengthening with exercise intervals while increasing endurance. *Not a learn-to-swim or stroke clinic. **Must be able to swim 400yds freestyle.
Wellness Seminar - Crocktober: A Healthy Cooking Demo
For all of us that love delicious healthy crock pot meals when the weather starts to get chilly. We’ll be breaking down caloric intake when cooking crock pot meals. Using ways to spice up and make food delicious without all the extra fat. The demonstration will be led by YWCA’s Director of Fitness, Starr Gargiullo, and Tiffany Chamber from Profile by Sanford. Tiffany has a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University, is a Certified Learning & Development Trainer from UNCC, and a Certified Health Nutrition Coach from Sanford Healthcare System. Tiffany’s passion in Health & Wellness initiatives comes from her personal story of losing 75lbs.

YDub Tri Club
Have you ever wanted to compete in a triathlon? From first timers to experienced competitors, we offer seasonal group and 1:1 trainings. Led by certified USAT Coach Jody Frazier and her team of coaches, you’ll be led step-by-step through swimming, biking and running drills over a multi-week period. Build friendships with your fellow athletes and feel the pride of crossing the finish line. The session includes a practice triathlon, preview of the race course and an abundance of support from your fellow YDubbers. Check this page seasonally for training and fee information.
