Current Special Programs:
September Kid's Yoga
Yoga is an ageless art – it knows no age! Children ages 3 to 12 can now take Saturday morning yoga classes with Instructor Alex to learn the basic poses and the cornerstones of meditation.
Class is free!
*Non-Members, please start a 4-Day Visit Pass.
*After 4 visits have been used, cost is $5/minor and $10/adult
Child Care is free for family memberships or $5/child for up to 2 hours.
Flick N' Float
Mom and Dad – leave the kids with us and enjoy a night out! Once a month, the YWCA hosts movie night in the pool from 6 pm – 8 pm. Kids watch a movie and float in the pool. Only $5 per child.
The next Flick N’ Float will be Friday, Oct. 26, and we’re showing Hocus Pocus! Register here.
Your child must be able to float unsupported for at least five seconds on front and back; able to swim five yards of front and back crawl without assistance. Children must be nine years or older. (For children younger than 9, an adult must accompany them.)
Tai Chi Basics with Mike Gentile
When: Tuesdays at 10 – 10:50am (9/11 – 10/16/18)
Cost: $10/class or $50 for the series
Registration: Through the Mindbody app or in person at the YWCA. The app is available in the APP store. Then, search Industrial Strength Fitness and complete your registration. Or you can visit the Industrial Strength Class Page and complete the online form, and bring your check made out to Industrial Strength to the YWCA Front Desk.
Holiday Hustle & Flow
When: Thursdays at 7 – 7:50pm & Saturdays at 9 – 9:50am
Starts: Thursday, November 1 (No Class Thanksgiving Week)
Ends: Saturday, December 1
Where: Industrial Strength Gym at The YWCA
Cost: $75 for all eight class series or $15 for drop-ins

Mental Health First Aid Class
This 8-hour general course is designed for people who live, work or engage with other adults. You will learn a 5-step action plan to identify, understand and respond to adults experiencing mental illness and how to talk to individuals in crisis.
When: Wednesday, 11/7 and Wednesday, 11/14
Where: YWCA Central Carolinas, Board Room

YDub Tri Club
Have you ever wanted to compete in a triathlon? From first timers to experienced competitors, we offer seasonal group and 1:1 trainings. Led by certified USAT Coach Jody Frazier and her team of coaches, you’ll be led step-by-step through swimming, biking and running drills over a multi-week period. Build friendships with your fellow athletes and feel the pride of crossing the finish line. The session includes a practice triathlon, preview of the race course and an abundance of support from your fellow YDubbers. Check this page seasonally for training and fee information.
