Jolaine Elien, MBA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

In her role as Chief Financial Officer, Jolaine Elien oversees all financial, administrative and reporting activities for YWCA Central Carolinas. Her primary responsibilities include financial reporting, contract management, budget oversight, internal controls, treasury management, oversight of facilities, human resources and technology, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Previously, Jolaine held multiple positions in accounting and finance, most recently as Chief Finance and Administrative Officer at Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays and prior to that as Accounting Manager at Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region. Jolaine started her career as a member of the Human Capital team at Grant Thornton providing companies in several industries with a variety of consulting services related to benefits, not-for-profit tax, and human resources.

Jolaine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens University of Charlotte and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. In addition to her leadership role at YWCA, Jolaine is a Board Member of Sustain Charlotte and has been a member of Rotary International since 2010. Jolaine loves to travel, attending live events, and spending time with family and friends.
