Teresa Cerda

From the West Coast, Teresa has been at the YWCA since 2001 and manages both finance and technology including any IT troubleshooting or coordination. Teresa oversees all day to day billing and management of invoices with the Finance Specialist, as well as prepares journal entries for month end processing. She also manages technology offsite at each of the 9 Youth Learning Centers across Mecklenburg and Union counties. One of the highlights of her role at the YWCA was deploying 55 new computers to each of the Youth Learning Centers and seeing the children’s faces light up when they were able to get on a fast, functioning computer.

Teresa studied Accounting at Pacific Coast Jr. College-Lemon Grove in California. Previous to the YWCA, she worked as an Accountant and in Accounts Payable at various technology companies.

Teresa loves good food and everything it entails: preparing, cooking and enjoying it with friends and family. She also loves to camp, snow ski and water ski.
