At YWCA Central Carolinas, we work every day to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Each of YWCA’s programs is designed to lift up women and people of color and dismantle the systems of oppression that hold our community back.
Since 1902, YWCA Central Carolinas has been committed to social justice. Today, in addition to utilizing a racial equity lens in our Youth Programs, Women In Transition program, and Families Together program, we work to educate and mobilize our community around issues of racial and social justice through forums, book clubs and advocacy.
