What is Les Mills?

It began in 1968 when Les Mills set up a small family gym in Auckland. Three generations on, there are now millions who work out with Les Mills every day, all over the world. In a world where we are bombarded by conflicting and confusing health and fitness advice, evidence-based exercise programs stand out. Using the world’s best music, best moves, and best instructors, Les Mills brings it all together to create life-changing fitness shaped by science.

 Les Mills programming will add over 20 new classes to our existing class schedule – don’t worry our favorite instructor-led classes are not going away! Combining our current instructor-led classes with LIVE in-person BODYPUMP™ classes and a variety of virtual YWTV classes, we are able to offer a group exercise class nearly every hour.

BODYPUMP ™ is a scientifically-backed barbell workout using light to moderate weights and high reps to build strength and get you fit – fast. BODYPUMP is offered as both a live instructor-led class and a virtual class on our YWTVs.

BODYBALANCE ™ is the yoga-based class that will improve
your mind, body, and overall wellbeing. With elements of Tai
Chi, Pilates and yoga moves, you will strengthen your entire
body, improve flexibility and reduce stress. BODYBALANCE ™ is offered on our YWTVs.

BODYCOMBAT ™ is a high-energy martial art-inspired
workout that fuels cardio fitness and strengthens your
whole body. This non-contact class will improve your agility,
speed, and release stress to leave you to feel amazing. BODYCOMBAT ™ is offered on our YWTVs.

LES MILLS CORE ™ is an intense core workout for functional
fitness. It’s scientifically designed to build strength, stability
and endurance in the muscles that support your core,
including the abs, glutes and back. LES MILLS CORE ™ is offered on our YWTVs. 

LES MILLS BODYATTACK ™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging, and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS ™ instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout — challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 555 calories** and leaving you with a sense of achievement. LES MILLS BODYATTACK™ is offered on our YWTVs.
