Julianna P. Canfield

DIRECTOR OF FITNESS

As a professional fitness instructor since 2002, Julianna has taught a variety of classes ranging from pilates, spin, tabata, and cardio and strength based classes. She leads the YWCA Fitness Team with the goal of creating fun, effective, and engaging fitness programming that appeals to a variety of fitness levels. Julianna works to implement high quality and creative program opportunities at the YWCA including seasonal boot camps and workshops.

Julianna holds a B.S. from Elon University with a concentration in Marketing and Management and a minor in Human Services. Prior to the YWCA, she worked in marketing and sales for High Temperature Technologies, AGA Sales, and a variety of non-profit work including the Juvenile Research Foundation, Queens University of Charlotte, and Girls on the Run.

Julianna is a Deacon at Forest Hill Church with a heart for serving, specifically in the area of global missions. She also served on the board of the Dilworth Soup Kitchen from 2009-2012.

Julianna lives in Tega Cay, SC with her husband, Matthew, and toddler identical twin boys, Parker and Gregory.
